Friday Night Freeze Hitting Clinic
Friday Night Freeze is a chance for middle school & high school baseball players refine their skills before the season begins. This fast paced, intense hitting workshop will be led by former Oakland A’s Scout, Chris Botsoe. Bring your A game, because we expect competitive players to show up and show out!
Rec League Training Camp
We are excited to host Nashville’s most ambitious recreational baseball players for a 4 week preseason training camp. Hit City instructors Chris Botsoe and Kiambu Fentress will guide your little leaguer through developmental drills to improve throwing, glove work, foot work, and hitting. Every Monday night in February, the 9-10 year olds will lead us off at 4:00, followed by 11/12s at 5:30. Space is strictly limited.
Infield Clinic With Lou Colon
We are thrilled to welcome world renowned infield coach Lou Colon back to Hit City Sports.
We hope you can join us on Sunday, Dec 8 for two 2-hour sessions. First up is the 9-12 year olds at 11:00, followed by 13+ age group at 1:30.
Expect high energy, fast paced defensive training, learning drills that you can take home to continue improving your skills!

Easton Rawlings Demo Day
Hit City Sports is hosting Easton and Rawlings for a demo day on Saturday, November 9.
This is your chance to demo the 2025 lineup of USA, USSSA, and BBCOR bats. Expect to see the 2025 Hype Fire, Hype Fire Arctic, Rawlings Icon, Clout and more. There will also be a full line up of gloves, mitts, and accessories on hand.
Keith Griffin Baseball Clinic & Recruiting Seminar
Keith Griffin is widely known among college baseball coaches as one of the best coaches in the country. With over 1500 career wins, Coach Griff has developed over 200 professional baseball players and over 40 major leaguers.
Coach Griff currently serves as the head baseball coach at Alabama Coastal Community College and with the Amsterdam Mohawks of the Perfect Game College Baseball League. Coach Griff won the Junior College World Series in 1998, and has won 8 league championships with the Amsterdam Mohawks. Take a look at the Mohawks roster to understand the type of player Griff attracts and develops.
We are excited to welcome Coach Keith Griffin to Hit City Sports for a two day baseball clinic. On Saturday, November 2 Coach Griff will lead a group of baseball players through advanced training sessions. We’ll wrap up on Sunday, November 3 with one hour of baseball, and a one hour recruiting seminar.

Softball Pitching Camp with Kat Banks
Kat Banks is from Hendersonville, TN, where she was a four year letterman at Beech High School and eventually named to the Middle Tennessee All Decade Team by the Tennessean. Kat continued her softball career at Virginia Tech University, where she was a four year starter in the infield and as a pitcher. Kat later coached for Trevecca Nazarene and Belmont University. Through the Kat Banks Softball Academy, Kat has established herself as the leading softball development coach in the Nashville area.
We are excited to host Kat for two softball pitching camps. Session 1 is for younger and beginning players, ages 9-12 years old. Kat will cover all of the fundamentals and leave you with tips to continue improving over the offseason. Session 2 is for more advanced players, ages 13-16. This session will focus on pitch development, with focus on fastball and softball delivery.
Speed & Agility Class W/ Royal Hobson
Speed and agility training is essential for your young athlete’s continued success in any sport. Unfortunately, these aspects are often overlooked in favor of sports specific training. Hit City Sports is here to help fill this void in your training routine.
Starting Monday, August 26 Coach Royal Hobson will lead speed and agility classes to help your athlete become faster and more explosive. Available for athletes ages 12 and older. Class size is limited to 8 participants per session.
Tryout Season
The end of the summer baseball is near. Soon there will be tryouts for next year’s middle school, high school, and travel teams. These sessions lead by Kiambu Fentress are the perfect way to sharpen your skills before showcasing them on the field. With 4 sessions available, Kiambu will cover hitting, defense, and other skills that will give you an edge over the competition.
Youth Baseball Clinics with Jackson Campbell
Join Coach Jackson Campbell for youth sessions that are catered to younger players, ages 4-6. These group sessions will incorporate skill development, friendly competition and fun! The primary purpose of these sessions will be to help your young athlete fall in love with baseball.
You can join us every week, or jump in single sessions as your schedule allows. Only 4 slots per group, so don’t wait!
Two Percent Infield Clinic
Join Coach Kiambu Fentress, Ro Coleman, & The Two Percent crew for infield skill sessions at Hit City Sports. These clinics will feature current and former players and coaches with D1, Power 5, and Professional experience. Coach Kiambu and Ro will lead advanced sessions covering footwork, positioning, glove presentation, and other details to help you become a better defender. This class starts on Monday, May 6 at 5:30 and will run for four weeks.

Infield Clinic with Coach Lou Colon
Lou Colon is widely known as one of the leading infield coaches in the country. Through his work as a player, college coach, and his affiliation with USA Baseball, Coach Lou has built a massive digital profile and social media following. We are excited to host Coach Lou Colon for two open sessions on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
9-11u at 4:30-6:00 12+ at 6:30-8:00pm. $150 + tax per player.
Spring Baseball Clinic with Harris Training
Join Brian Harris from Harris Training for a Spring Baseball Clinic on Saturday, February 24. Each session will include advanced hitting and defensive instruction from former professional and college players. $50 + tax per player.
Open Gym
Don’t miss your holiday training session because every place in town is closed because of snow. Open Gym allows you to come and go as you wish and grants access to all cages, pitching machines and mounds. Stay for the whole day, or come and go as you please. Only $30+ tax per participant.
Preseason Baseball Clinic with Kiambu Fentress
It’s time to shake the winter blues and pivot from indoor sports back to the baseball field. Let us help you shake off the rust with our comprehensive preseason clinics with Coach Kiambu Fentress.
This four week program will cover all parts of the game…throwing, hitting, defense, baserunning, speed, and agility. Expect fun and fast paced action in this group setting, offered every Wednesday in February.

Monday Madness
Monday Madness is the Middle School hitting program you don’t want to miss. Join Kiambu Fentress and special guests as we advance the skills of the best middle school players in Nashville.
